Hi, this is Lucas

I'm a digital product designer and product manager from Hannover, Germany. With my work I support companies and individuals in the ideation, prototyping and development of digital products. I do that through workshops, consultation sessions and bookable work days as a freelancer.

A user centered approach and adaptive product design is the key for an outstanding user experience – and therefore the base for a successful business. Because of this, I keep a strong focus on working within design systems and component libraries to craft genuine user experiences.

About me*

In 2016, I first started working as a software project manager in a 1000+ corporate in Germany. In 2017, I made my dream of building my own company become true and founded a web design agency together with 2 of my best friends. Even before Covid, we discovered that working remotely can be as effective as working on-site. So we started to travel and work from all around the world for amazing clients while doing fun projects. Since 2019, I have shifted my focus from web design towards digital product design. I’ve mainly worked in between the roles of UX-Designer and Product Manager or as a consultant.

For me, design is a way to solve a problem, not a form of self-expression. A good application should do the job the user wants it to do – in the best case, without even thinking about it.
